pots out of newspaper, but I find it soothing to purchase at least one little
stack of pots. While the lopsided charm of my newspaper pots is
endearing, there is something in the symmetrical bought pots that appeals to my organizational nature.
My young assistant and I selected a few seed packets that were definitely getting grown this year. Of those, we selected the ones that would most benefit from a head start. Some of the seeds were a few years old, so their germination may be disappointing. Luckily we have more modern back-up seeds for direct sowing should we need them!
